The Rock Olympics Assembly
Audience: K-6th Grade
Length: 30 minutes
Hannah challenges the three major rock classifications to a battle of strength, endurance, and flexibility. Students cheer for their favorites. With the timed trials, team changes, and flash medals, students might not even realize they are learning advanced geology. Perfect for groups, small or large.
Storytime with Author Secrets Revealed
Audience: Pre K-2nd Grade
Length: 25 minutes
Hannah reads from one of her books while sharing behind-the-scenes secrets and asking questions on each page. She will also share about her life as an author, and students will have time for questions. Great for classes or as an assembly for younger students.
A Book is Born
Audience: 1st -6th Grade
Length: 30-45 minutes
How does a book go from a seed of an idea to a fully formed book high on an oaky shelf? Hannah lays out the publication process, reveals the four essential elements of story, and helps students put a few of their own ideas on paper. Students will have the option to share these story seeds with the class and ask Hannah questions. A great option if you want an author to visit your class or library time. 30 minutes for grades 1st-3rd and 45 minutes for grades 4th-6th.
